Description

Support the development and validation of liquid level sensors and pressure switches for engine applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop new continuous oil level sensors for engine applications.
• Lead projects to develop new components meeting cost, quality, and velocity objectives.
• Develop validation and implementation plans for releasing new sensors to the existing catalog.
• Manage switch and sensor suppliers and process engineering change requests.
• Collaborate with international teams on project and component details.

Required Skills

• 5 to 10 years of experience in engineering roles.
• Experience managing projects with unknown solutions at the start.
• Experience working with and managing suppliers.
• Ability to read and understand prints, specifications, and standards.
• Understanding of electro-mechanical components.
• Understanding of dynamic systems and control software.
• Understanding of the off-highway equipment market.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the function of oscilloscopes and other electronic tools.
