Description

Lead the creation and maturity of the DevSecOps practice and platform. Define solution architectures covering system, data flow, and process designs. Build frameworks for consistent, verifiable, and automatic management of applications and infrastructure. Establish processes conforming to NIST SP 800.171, CMMC Version 2 Level 2, and DoD Impact Level 4 guidelines. Research and recommend technologies for CI/CD best practices. Communicate requirements via platform specifications and design documents. Guide teams through implementation and TDD testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop solution architectures including overview, system, data flow, and process components.
• Build platforms ensuring consistent, verifiable, and automatic management of applications and infrastructure.
• Establish processes and procedures conforming to NIST SP 800.171, CMMC Version 2 Level 2, and DoD Impact Level 4.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend technologies for CI/CD best practices.
• Guide development teams through implementation and testing using TDD.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of application development experience.
• 10+ years of DevSecOps and CI/CD experience.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Software as a Service (SaaS).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and MicroServices.
• Architect-level competency in IT security practices, current threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and software development principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with agile delivery methodologies and DevSecOps delivery infrastructure.
• Experience developing Client/Desktop application software.
• Experience securing defense software.
