Description

This role owns the integration of security practices into the DevOps lifecycle for backend and containerized applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls within CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain secure backend services using Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Manage containerized application deployments on OpenShift, EKS, or GKE.
• Ensure application security standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of IT experience.
• At least 2+ years specializing in application security and/or DevOps.
• At least 2+ years of application development experience with backend services.
• Proficiency in programming languages: Java, JavaScript, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with container platforms: OpenShift, EKS, or GKE.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools for security automation.
