Description

You will design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and manage containerized workloads in OpenShift. You own the release pipeline from code commit to production deployment, embedding security controls at every stage.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (reusable workflows) and Harness CD for rolling, canary, and blue-green deployments.
• Implement event-driven deployment triggers via Kafka EDA bus to integrate CI and CD stages.
• Champion shift-left security by integrating SAST, SCA, secret scanning, and code quality gates as hard-gate merge checks in PR workflows.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) workloads across multi-data-center environments (DEV, UAT, PROD, DR).
• Triage and remediate OS-level and application-layer CVEs, managing the vulnerability lifecycle through ServiceNow AVR.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years as a DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, including composite actions, matrix strategies, and reusable workflow patterns.
• Production experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) or Kubernetes, including Helm chart authoring, namespace administration, RBAC, and SCC enforcement.
• Hands-on experience with Harness CD or equivalent enterprise CD platform (pipeline-as-code, environment promotion, approval gates).
• Deep understanding of shift-left security tooling: SAST (Checkmarx), SCA (Black Duck), secret scanning, and container image scanning (Prisma Cloud/Xray).
• Proficiency in at least two scripting languages: Python, Bash/Shell, PowerShell, or Perl.
• Experience with Java-based environments (Spring Boot, Gradle) and SQL-driven systems (Oracle preferred).
• Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault or equivalent secrets management platform.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial services, banking, or regulated industries (PCI-DSS, SOX, AML/KYC).
• Familiarity with JFrog Artifactory for artifact management, internal registry proxying, and Xray policy enforcement.
