Description

You will integrate security practices into the development lifecycle for prototypes and production systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing to identify and remediate vulnerabilities early.
• Design and implement security controls for cloud environments, including secure authentication using OAuth and OIDC.
• Automate security configuration management and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct threat modeling to proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Ensure alignment with compliance frameworks and document security architectures and control implementations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application security, cloud security, or related roles.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or Bash.
• Experience securing cloud infrastructure, especially AWS.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions and GitLab Pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and threat modeling techniques.
• Experience with static/dynamic analysis tools and security automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or AWS Security.
• Interest in emerging threats, AI/ML security, and continuous learning.
