Description

You will secure software development processes and infrastructure within FedRAMP compliant environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure infrastructure using containers, virtual machines, and cloud services.
• Develop automation tools and scripts to streamline security processes, patch management, and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and mitigate security risks.
• Respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
• Assist with security audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to industry standards.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a DevSecOps or DevOps engineer.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software development processes.
• Knowledge of security principles, secure coding practices, and OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with vulnerability scanners, static code analysis, and SIEM solutions.
• Familiarity with security frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing FedRAMP compliant environments.
