Description

Own the development and execution of automation and testing to ensure high-quality software releases.

Responsibilities

• Implement automation using existing frameworks to deliver quality features efficiently.
• Collaborate with Software Development and Quality Assurance Engineers to understand project features.
• Debug test failures and automation environments to improve coverage in a continuous integration environment.
• Analyze test results and guide the team on improving testing processes.
• Perform automation and performance testing for RESTful APIs, Web applications, and SaaS offerings.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Proficiency in scripting or high-level languages: JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Shell.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and testing complex software systems.
• Experience with cloud service providers: IBM Cloud, AWS, Google, or Azure.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug test automation environments.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
• Experience with UNIX-based systems for debugging, analysis, and automation using virtual machines.
