Description

You will design end-to-end solution architectures for digital and mobile banking platforms, including online banking, mobile apps, P2P payments, and digital onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Design solution architectures that align with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and enterprise standards.
• Translate functional and technical requirements from product teams into high-level designs.
• Lead vendor assessments to provide build vs. buy recommendations.
• Define integration patterns across mobile apps, core banking, CRM, and third-party fintech APIs.
• Ensure architectural governance, documentation, and traceability from concept to implementation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in solution architecture for digital banking and mobile platforms.
• Deep knowledge of retail banking products, mobile app architectures, and customer authentication flows.
• Experience with API gateways, microservices, and middleware such as MuleSoft or Apigee.
• Experience integrating with core banking systems like Jack Henry, FIS, or Fiserv.
• Understanding of security, compliance (FFIEC, PCI), and fraud prevention.
• Experience with native iOS/Android architectures.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in regional or community bank environments.
• Familiarity with FedNow, RTP, and embedded finance solutions.
• TOGAF, AWS, or Azure architecture certifications.
