Description

You will optimize and enhance the Power BI architecture, covering data ingestion, transformation, and modeling from systems like TrackWise, SAP, and Documentum. You will design and maintain interactive dashboards for Quality Management Systems and establish best practices for semantic models, dataflows, and gold layer datasets. You will define architectural patterns that enable self-service analytics while maintaining governance, compliance, and technical leadership for cloud integrations in Azure and Microsoft Fabric.

Responsibilities

• Optimize Power BI architecture including data ingestion and transformation layers.
• Design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Establish best practices for semantic model design, dataset reuse, and dataflows.
• Define architectural patterns enabling self-service analytics with governance.
• Provide technical leadership on cloud integrations such as Azure and Microsoft Fabric.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data and analytics architecture.
• 3+ years in Power BI enterprise architecture roles.
• Deep understanding of the Microsoft Power BI stack, including semantic models and dataflows.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience assessing current architecture and defining future reference architectures.
• Strong knowledge of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity principles.
• Ability to recommend governance and best practices for Power BI.

• Experience translating business needs into scalable solutions.
