Description

Manage dimensional accuracy and tolerance requirements for BiW, exterior, and interior components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain aesthetic gap and flush target requirements.
• Analyze and maintain BiW, Exterior, and Interior datum targets using the 3-2-1 principle.
• Perform tolerance calculations and build simulation/analysis models in 3DCS and VIS-VSA environments.
• Develop pre-tolerancing documents, gap/flush documentation, and measurement point maps.
• Resolve deviations from tolerance calculations and address functional tolerance requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in dimensional engineering.
• Proficiency with 3DCS software for tolerance calculation modeling.
• Experience with VIS-VSA software environments.
• Expertise in GD&T callouts and datum target definition.
• Ability to perform build tolerance simulations for BiW, Exterior, and Interior components.
• Knowledge of Gap and Flush requirement management.
• Skill in Dimensional Modeling.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
