You will lead the design, implementation, and operational excellence of enterprise data platforms on Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement enterprise-grade data platforms on Azure Databricks.
• Build and optimize data lakes, ingestion frameworks, and scalable pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Delta Lake, and Apache Spark.
• Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, security, quality, lineage, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a global data engineering organization of 40+ members.
• Own delivery outcomes across multiple programs, ensuring timelines, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering.
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in people leadership and large-scale program delivery.
• Strong expertise in the Azure cloud ecosystem and Azure Databricks platform.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies including Apache Spark and Delta Lake.
• Demonstrated experience in enterprise data architecture and data governance frameworks.
• Proven experience leading large transformation and data modernization programs.
• Proficiency in driving performance tuning and cost optimization for data platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management experience with global business and technology teams.
