Lead the bioengineering program and manage medical equipment operations within a large hospital or academic medical center environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff and services for the bioengineering program.
• Oversee the operations and maintenance of medical and technical equipment.
• Apply new technology solutions to solve business and healthcare problems.
• Communicate technical principles to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Monitor industry trends and patient care equipment standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in medical or technical equipment operations and maintenance management.
• 3+ years of experience managing bioengineering staff and services in a large hospital or academic medical center.
• Advanced electronic training including electronic theory and technology.
• Familiarity with regulatory and inspection agency requirements.
• Proficiency in maintenance management.
• Experience in business development and negotiation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity in a work or academic environment.

Preferred Skills

• Master of Science degree in engineering or biomedical engineering with a clinical engineering concentration.
