Description

Lead the DevOps engineering function to build, scale, and sustain a global engineering organization.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a global DevOps engineering team, focusing on attracting and developing technical leadership.
• Create and execute a long-term DevOps strategy using modern, resilient patterns and end-to-end engineering systems.
• Define and institutionalize DevOps practices across product engineering teams to enable enterprise-wide scalability.
• Analyze data and trends to identify pain points, prioritizing improvements to the engineering product.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and technology services leads to define and adopt tools for pipeline and platform development.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in technical leadership or engineering management.
• Proven experience leading real-life DevOps transformations with end-to-end visibility of the product development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps, GitOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Deep understanding of SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), PaaS/SaaS, and DevOps architecture.
• Experience implementing DevOps measurements, specifically DORA KPIs.
• Technical proficiency with AWS, GitHub, and Open-Source technologies.
• Expertise in Agile development, Lean Product management, and OKR (Objective and Key Results) frameworks.
• Experience managing organizational change and implementing shift-left testing and security.
• Ability to drive value stream improvements and InnerSource practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing stakeholder communication and executive reporting through regular dashboards and data-driven insights.
• Strong background in defining enterprise-wide scalability standards.
