Description

You will lead enterprise-scale engineering transformations and technical delivery for Energy & Commodities clients within the DACH region.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale solutions to drive digital transformation for energy and commodities clients.
• Lead technical design, planning, and delivery while driving the adoption of engineering best practices.
• Manage and grow globally distributed technology teams and talent.
• Advise C-level clients on long-term digital and mobile technology visions.
• Solve complex technical problems using modern architectural patterns and engineering disciplines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise-scale technology transformation and technical leadership.
• Proven experience managing large, globally distributed technology teams.
• Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript (ES6/ES2015), Kotlin, Python, or Go-Lang.
• Deep knowledge of Microservices, API design, and distributed architecture.
• Expertise in modern architectural patterns and building high-performance systems.
• Experience working within Agile frameworks such as SCRUM or Kanban.
• Strong consulting and client advisory skills for C-level stakeholders.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Deep understanding of the energy, utilities, or commodities industry sectors.
• Experience with DevOps tooling (CI/CD, aggregated logging, and metrics) and cloud deployment migration.
• Knowledge of Quality Engineering and Shift Left paradigms, including automated testing, BDD, and TDD.
• Any Graduate degree.

• External presence through open source contributions, speaking at conferences, or authoring books.
