Director of Engineering

Lead engineering teams and manage complex program development within the retail domain. You will own technical architecture, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage high-performing software engineering teams through recruitment, performance management, and upskilling.
• Own technical architecture and design, providing hands-on support for complex engineering challenges.
• Manage customer stakeholder relationships, project governance, and structured feedback mechanisms.
• Drive engineering standards, code reviews, and the implementation of automation in service delivery.
• Oversee portfolio P&L, revenue retention, and effort estimation to ensure margin thresholds and project scopes are met.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing large, complex program development.
• Proven experience in roles including Technical Lead, Architect, and Engineering Manager.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, Java, .NET, C++, or Python.
• Experience in customer stakeholder management and contract management.
• Strong background in P&L management and revenue growth strategies.
• Ability to establish engineering processes, governance, and estimation frameworks.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field.
