Description

Lead the IT department and cybersecurity strategy through hands-on technical leadership and execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop technical teams through progressive leadership.
• Drive cybersecurity strategy into execution and oversee project management.
• Own capital and operating expense budgets.
• Lead security incident response and manage regulatory risk assessments for financial institutions.
• Communicate complex cybersecurity topics to non-IT leadership in plain language.

Required Skills

• 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience with standard security technologies and principles.
• 5 to 7 years of experience managing technical teams.
• 5 to 7 years of experience managing CapEx and OpEx budgets.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies and industry standard Information Security Frameworks.
• Experience with regulatory requirements and risk assessments within financial institutions.
• Knowledge of cloud security infrastructures.
• Strong diagnostic, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff and management.

Preferred Skills

• CISSP certification.
• Knowledge of banking systems, departmental functions, and operating technologies.
