Description

Lead sales activities to maximize revenue across Group, Business, and Leisure Travel segments. Manage a team of sales managers and coordinators, including onboarding, training, and performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of sales managers and coordinators.
• Oversee sales funnel reviews, goal-setting processes, and monthly group reviews with Revenue Management.
• Negotiate contracts and review group turnovers with Event Services.
• Contribute to monthly forecasting, group revenue projections, and annual rooms revenue budgets.
• Collaborate with the DOSM on annual marketing plans and action plan reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Group Sales Manager in a luxury hotel environment.
• Proven experience leading and managing a sales team.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to perform monthly, quarterly, and annual goal-setting and forecasting.
• Experience with contract negotiation and revenue target advancement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Opera or Property Manager.
• Experience working with DOSM on strategic projects.
• Proficiency in Windows XP.
