Responsibilities

• Leads cross-functional engineering teams to solve complex technical problems and deliver scalable solutions.
• Manages hiring, development, and recognition of talent while overseeing product engineering initiatives.
• Drives strategic decisions regarding resources, budget, and tactical operations to ensure maintainability and cost efficiency.
• Governs coding standards, control obligations, and technical quality across systems and domains.
• Collaborates with senior stakeholders to influence product and technology direction.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
• 5+ years leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Microservices architecture, Object-Oriented Design, and Spring Batch.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EKS, EC2, and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Equities/Stock Borrow Loan domain.
• Exposure to CI/CD, application resiliency, and security best practices.
