Description

Drive business growth and capture new Federal projects within the DMV area. You will lead the end-to-end business development process for government clients.

Responsibilities

  • Execute strategic plans to identify and capture new Federal projects.
  • Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within government agencies.
  • Lead market research, opportunity identification, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with technical experts and project managers to develop tailored solutions and capture strategies.
  • Monitor project pipelines, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure targets are met.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
  • Proven track record of winning Federal contracts.
  • Deep understanding of the Federal procurement process, including GSG schedules, IDIQ, and GWAC vehicles.
  • Experience selling technology solutions or services to government clients, specifically in digital transformation.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills for interacting with C-level executives and government officials.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing strategic customer relationships.

  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
