Lead the West Coast structural engineering team with an equal split between high-quality project delivery and business development.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-discipline engineering pipelines, fee estimates, and project profitability to meet regional targets.
• Spend 50% of time on project delivery and 50% on business development to drive brand growth.
• Develop team strategies and mentor staff on work-winning execution and high standards.
• Strengthen client relationships through industry events and B2B engagement.
• Lead in challenging situations, eliciting cooperation from senior management, clients, and regulators.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Licensed California Structural Engineer (SE).
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
• Proven track record in commercial, higher education, museum, and airport sectors.
• Established client relationship network within California.
• Experience managing multi-discipline engineering pipelines and regional growth strategies.

• Strong network of industry collaborators in the San Francisco or Los Angeles markets.
