Description

You will perform hands-on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center and network infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and test physical cabling, including Fiber, Copper, and Power circuits.
• Support network and server teams with rack and stack tasks and cable deployment.
• Conduct failure analysis, functional testing, and component replacement (e.g., line cards, optics).
• Perform break/fix tasks, including cleaning fibers, replacing faulty optics, and testing circuits.
• Manage asset tagging, labeling, and provisioning for operational reporting.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in Data center infrastructure or DWDM.
• 3+ years of experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Network Hardware.
• Hands-on experience with Datacenter, Fiber, Fiber Optics, and Fiber Tools.
• Experience in physical cabling, including Fiber/Copper installations and working with MPO fibers.
• Proficiency in IMAC and break-fix activities within an infrastructure environment.
• Ability to perform component replacement, including reseating line cards and power cycling hardware.
• BSc. degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent associate degree with an emphasis in electronics.

Education

Equivalent Qualifications: Education : BSc. degree in computer science or related field or equivalent associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from three-year college or technical school with an emphasis in electronics required, bachelor's Degree preferred. Tech certification: Knowledge of ITIL and experience of working within an ITIL environment would be preferred. Work Experience: 5-8 years of Data center infrastructure or DWDM.3+ Years of experience in Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Network Hardware
