Description

You own the physical and network maintenance tasks within the data center environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and manage physical cabling (Fiber, Copper, Power), including cable management and northbound connections.
• Support network and server teams with rack and stack activities and cable running.
• Perform labeling, patching, asset tagging, and circuit migration support.
• Conduct failure analysis, functional testing, and component replacement (line cards, optics).
• Execute break/fix tasks, including cleaning fibers, replacing optical cables, and testing circuits.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in Data center infrastructure or DWDM.
• 3+ years of experience in Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Network Hardware.
• Hands-on experience with Datacenter, Fiber, Fiber Optics, Fiber Tools, and Network Troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in physical cabling, including Fiber and Copper installations and maintenance (MPO fibers).
• Experience with infrastructure hardware architecture to support L3 troubleshooting procedures.
• Ability to perform IMAC and break-fix activities in an infrastructure setting.
• Familiarity with IT principles related to networks and hardware.
• Experience performing component replacement, reseating cards, and power cycling.
