Description

You will own the design and implementation of display software for embedded and mobile platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement graphics software using OpenGL ES, Vulkan, or equivalent APIs.
• Optimize rendering pipelines for memory-constrained, real-time embedded environments.
• Develop and maintain display compositor or window manager functionality on target OSs.
• Lead technical design decisions and mentor engineers across feature teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronics platforms.
• 5+ years focused specifically on display or graphics software development.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership role, including mentoring and cross-team decision making.
• Deep expertise in GPU programming using OpenGL ES, Vulkan, or EGL.
• Strong C/C++ proficiency for embedded systems development.
• Hands-on experience with display compositors or rendering engines on QNX, Linux, or Android Automotive.
• Demonstrated experience with HMI/UI frameworks like Qt/QML or Android Views/Jetpack Compose.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automotive infotainment platforms or functional safety standards (ISO 26262).
• Familiarity with automotive-grade SoCs (Qualcomm SA8295/SA8775, TI Jacinto, Renesas R-Car).
