Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Django.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework, including versioning and error handling.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control for enterprise applications.
• Write unit, integration, and API tests using PyTest and the Django Test Framework.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment readiness, and environment configuration.
• Address production defects and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python and Django.
• Strong proficiency in Django REST Framework (DRF) for building REST APIs.
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Knowledge of REST API design practices, including versioning and error handling.
• Ability to write tests using PyTest and Django Test Framework.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with QMS (Quality Management Systems) applications.
• Familiarity with Celery/Redis or other asynchronous processing frameworks.
• Knowledge of API security standards, audit logging, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
