Description

Lead the definition and implementation of data management standards and enterprise data strategies. You will own the technical governance roadmap, ensuring alignment with corporate security policies and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update functional, non-functional, and technical standards for data governance, sharing, archival, retention, and disposal.
• Create technical user guides detailing implementation steps required to meet established standards.
• Align the data governance roadmap with enterprise objectives through continuous stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to manage expectations and secure document approvals.
• Articulate the technical and business implications of data management decisions to relevant parties.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, or Data & Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS.
• Proficiency with data ingestion tools.
• Proven experience defining and implementing Enterprise Data Strategy and Data Management Principles.
• Strong understanding of corporate IT security policies and applicable data governance policies.
• Ability to translate complex data points into actionable technical standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reviews.

Preferred Skills

• Technical expertise in data handling, archiving, and data classification technologies.
• Knowledge of general data architecture concepts, standards, and best practices.
• Industry vertical experience and related certifications.
