Description

You will focus on testing and evaluating DOCSIS network equipment and supporting the migration to DOCSIS 4.0.

Responsibilities

• Develop network designs, planning, and deployment strategies for DOCSIS 4.0 migration.
• Test and evaluate DOCSIS network equipment and CMTS/DOCSIS 3.0/3.1 deployments.
• Manage Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) and Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) modifications.
• Support Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) integration within the network.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in IP Network Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in DOCSIS network equipment testing and evaluation.
• Hands-on experience with CMTS and DOCSIS 3.0/3.1 deployment.
• Proficiency with packet-based protocols including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, TCP, and UDP.
• Experience with MPLS and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP4.
• Working knowledge of Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) and QAM modifications.
• Degree in any graduate field.
