Description

You will design and oversee the architectural direction for complex software domains.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain architecture strategies, roadmaps, and domain capability maps.
• Lead technical design for distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Mentor engineering teams while remaining hands-on with technical implementation.
• Engage senior stakeholders to align architecture with business requirements.
• Address cross-cutting concerns including security, logging, testing, and monitoring.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in software or solution architecture.
• Hands-on technical leadership experience.
• Expertise in system design, distributed systems, and microservices.
• Experience with 12-factor app design and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficiency in real-time streaming technologies.
• Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong background in event-driven architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of architecture governance frameworks and decision records.
• Familiarity with value stream mapping and capability-based planning.
