Description

You will upgrade legacy .NET Framework applications to .NET 8, refactor MVC apps into Web APIs, and maintain UI layers using React or .NET UI frameworks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Refactor legacy .NET Framework 3.x applications to .NET 8 and convert MVC apps to Web API architecture.
• Develop and maintain UI layers using .NET UI frameworks or React.
• Write, maintain, and optimize MSSQL queries, stored procedures, and functions, including indexing for performance.
• Conduct end-to-end testing across API, UI, and database layers before release.
• Deploy and publish applications in IIS and troubleshoot issues across all application layers.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET, and MVC.
• Working experience with .NET Core / .NET 6+ (preferably .NET 8).
• Hands-on experience developing RESTful Web APIs.
• Good working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Exposure to React UI or .NET-based UI frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), including complex queries, joins, and optimization.
• Experience with end-to-end testing and deploying applications on IIS.
• 10+ years of experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy system modernization and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and security best practices.
