Description

You will own the development and maintenance of server-side systems for the Model Validation Group, focusing on .NET 8 programming rather than model validation itself.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service Model Validation Group servers and GIT repositories.
• Design and implement data storage, retrieval, and visualization systems for high-volume financial data.
• Apply object-oriented design principles and software design patterns to build clean, maintainable code.
• Implement model change impact tests, stress tests, and reproduce production analyses in test environments.
• Create technical documentation for new code and test cases.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of production-level programming experience with C# and .NET, specifically .NET 8.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for retrieving large-scale data sets with high performance from SQL Server.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core for both server-side and client-side front-end development.
• Academic or working experience in numerical algorithms, statistical techniques, and data manipulations.
• Strong scientific programming and mathematical background.
• Proficiency in technical or scientific writing.
• Evidence of proficiency in clean code software development, particularly for risk management solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Additional experience with JavaScript, R language, Java, or IntelliJ/Eclipse.
• Experience and knowledge with financial data and large financial data sets.
