Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend services using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET. You own user stories from design through production support, ensuring clean, testable code. You build and consume RESTful APIs, integrate downstream systems, and apply DevOps practices including CI/CD and automated testing. You resolve defects, address technical debt, and guide junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain services using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for downstream integration.
• Take ownership of user stories from design to production support.
• Apply DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Resolve defects, performance issues, and technical debt.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of solid experience with .NET (C#) and backend development.
• Experience working with databases and data persistence.
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted applications and containerised environments.
• Confident use of version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of testing strategies and quality practices.
• Understanding of software design principles and patterns.
• Awareness of secure coding and non-functional requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting and guiding junior engineers.
• Ability to deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.
