Description

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET, owning user stories from design through production support.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable backend services using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for downstream system integration.
• Take ownership of user stories from initial design through to production support.
• Apply DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Resolve defects, performance issues, and technical debt while guiding junior engineers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of solid experience with .NET (C#) and backend development.
• Experience working with databases and data persistence.
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted applications and containerised environments.
• Confident use of version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of testing strategies and quality practices.
• Understanding of software design principles and patterns.
• Awareness of secure coding and non-functional requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting and guiding junior engineers.
• Ability to deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.
