Description

Design and develop a WPF-based desktop application for laboratory data capture, calibration, and reporting. You will own the full development lifecycle from architecture to device integration and validation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable WPF desktop applications using modular architecture.
• Implement device integration frameworks for laboratory instruments via COM protocols and SDKs.
• Handle serial communication, device health checks, and configuration modules.
• Develop multithreaded and asynchronous patterns for real-time instrument interaction.
• Manage offline data handling, synchronization, and reporting functionalities.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core / .NET Framework.
• Hands-on experience with WPF and desktop UI development.
• Expertise in serial communication and COM port-based integrations.
• Strong understanding of multithreading and async/await patterns.
• Experience integrating hardware devices through APIs, SDKs, or communication protocols.
• Knowledge of database access technologies such as ADO.NET or ORM.
• Experience with modular application architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Background in laboratory or instrument-connected environments.
