Description

Develop and maintain core backend .NET services for the platform team.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy backend .NET services using Microsoft technology stacks.
• Develop object-oriented web applications and APIs following clean code principles.
• Apply best practices for version control, CI, and cloud deployment.
• Collaborate with technical product owners and business analysts to solve complex problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a .NET developer.
• C# with .NET Framework/Core (latest version 8).
• Entity Framework Core and SQL Databases (SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
• Domain Driven Design (DDD), design patterns, and dependency injection.
• Experience with at least one .NET unit testing framework.
• Proficiency with GIT, GitHub (Repositories, Packages, Actions), and Jira.
• Continuous integration and Microsoft Azure (Web apps, Function apps, Service bus).
• Docker and Docker Compose.
• Tracing/logging frameworks (OpenTelemetry, NewRelic, or Jaeger).

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Azure (Container apps, Static Web apps, Logic Apps, Keyvaults, API Management).
• CLI tools (Az CLI, Powershell, Bash) or Terraform.
