Description

You will lead the technical direction and architectural design for Drupal-based web applications and APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect Drupal solutions including data, display, and information architecture.
• Design and implement new features, custom themes, and sub-themes based on design specifications.
• Manage all technical aspects of the CMS, including caching, performance tuning, and security.
• Troubleshoot, test, and debug both front-end and back-end code to resolve bugs.
• Guide the development team on technical best practices and Drupal UI standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with 6-8 years focused on Drupal development.
• Expertise in PHP, Drupal architecture, and Symfony.
• Deep knowledge of Drupal modules including CTools, Views, and Panels.
• Proficiency in Drupal site building, configuration, theming, hooks, and the database layer.
• Strong front-end skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive/mobile design.
• Experience with Drupal development tools such as Git, Composer, and Drush.
• Working knowledge of other CMS platforms like WordPress, AEM, Sitecore, Contentful, or Contentstack.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile/iterative methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Acquia Certifications.
• Knowledge of Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) and past implementation experience.
