Description

You will bridge the gap between user-centered design and Drupal development to build accessible, responsive digital experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure parity between design tokens, components, and front-end implementation.
  • Configure Drupal site elements including content types, views, menus, blocks, roles, and permissions.
  • Execute content migration strategies, including bulk transfers, taxonomy configuration, and metadata management.
  • Train and mentor team members in Drupal theming, site building, and administration.
  • Conduct usability testing and user research to validate design and content decisions.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in product design or UI/UX design.
  • 3+ years of experience focused on design systems at scale.
  • Proficiency in Figma, including variables, component properties, and auto layout.
  • Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and assistive technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and React.
  • Experience with Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Computer Science, HCI, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Drupal 9 or higher.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
