Description

Lead the design, build, and migration of complex data centre environments, focusing on Oracle Solaris platforms, network infrastructure, and Duck Creek application migrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Oracle Solaris Logical domains and Oracle VM Manager configurations on T7 series hardware.
• Architect network solutions using Cisco technologies, including routing, switching, security, ASR, and Firepower.
• Manage data centre decommissioning and Wintel upgrade projects using Prince 2 methodologies.
• Develop comprehensive Data Centre Operations Manuals covering WAN, firewall, load balancer, and storage procedures.
• Execute application migration duties including discovery, Migration Design Document (MDD) creation, and CAB approvals.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data centre architecture and network design.
• Deep expertise in Oracle Solaris, Logical Domains, and Oracle VM Manager.
• Strong background in Cisco network technologies, routing, switching, and security.
• Proven experience with Oracle Dataguard and eBusiness Suite environments.
• Proficiency in creating High-Level and Low-Level Design documents.
• Experience managing migration lifecycles, including IVT, AVT, and UAT defect rectification.
• Demonstrable project management skills with Prince 2 or equivalent certification.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco certifications or specific experience with ASR and Firepower products.
• Experience with HP Application LifeCycle Manager for defect tracking.
