Description

You will manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of application programs and interfaces within the billing system.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and document application programs and interfaces.
• Modify procedures to solve complex problems while accounting for equipment capacity and system limitations.
• Monitor system capacity and performance, including planning and executing disaster recovery procedures.
• Evaluate user requests for new or modified programs to determine feasibility, cost, and compatibility.
• Identify, escalate, and document production impact issues.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in systems development or related roles.
• Expertise with COBOL, MVS, CICS, and JCL.
• Proficiency in SQL and VisualBasic.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end systems development life cycles (SDLC).
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement system changes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and technical documentation skills.
