Description

You will architect the transition from AX 2012 to D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed landscape assessments of existing AX 2012 environments, analyzing processes, customizations, and integration points.
• Define the target-state D365 architecture and develop a migration roadmap covering data, customizations, and integrations.
• Facilitate workshops with business users to validate requirements and align future-state designs across functional and technical teams.
• Ensure solution alignment with Microsoft FastTrack and define functional design standards and documentation review mechanisms.
• Provide guidance on process simplification and adoption of next-gen D365 capabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in functional architecture roles.
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of Dynamics AX 2012 and D365 Finance & SCM modules.
• Proven experience leading large-scale AX-to-D365 migrations, including data migration strategy.
• Understanding of D365 extension models, security, and integration methods (OData, DMF).
• Proficiency with Power BI, Power Platform, and Azure Services.
• Strong ability to translate complex functional needs into structured design documentation.
• Experience working in multi-business-unit and multi-geography environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Logic Apps and Supply Chain specific configurations.
