Description

Architect and implement complex eCommerce solutions for enterprise clients, leading technical engagements from discovery through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable, high-performance technical solutions for commerce platforms (Commercetools, Oracle, Shopify Enterprise) addressing complex business and integration requirements.
• Define and implement Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), including performance optimization, scalability strategies, and disaster recovery plans across the full stack.
• Drive technical workshops with senior business and technology executives to identify opportunities, define scope, and align technical strategy with business outcomes.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives spanning application modernization, cloud migration, and data transformation, ensuring seamless integration of new and legacy systems.
• Mine and convert technical opportunities into tangible projects, driving enterprise-wide adoption of Generative AI initiatives for SDLC efficiency and business value.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in technology consulting with a focus on commerce platforms.
• Deep expertise in architecting native cloud applications, APIs, and microservices using Java Full Stack and Springboot.
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for cloud-native deployment and management.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and C4 model for architectural visualization and design.
• Proven track record of handling enterprise-scale B2C and retail services with diverse technology stacks.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical architectures and implementation plans.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience or certification in Generative AI initiatives.
• Direct experience with Commercetools, Oracle Web Commerce, or Shopify Enterprise.
