Description

You will be responsible for cloud infrastructure engineering and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain solutions using Python and AWS services.
• Own the deployment process for non-production and production environments following change management principles.
• Apply OS platform patches and upgrades, determining necessary impacts and documenting implementation steps.
• Document feature implementations and release notes for stakeholders.
• Demonstrate Jira stories to clients, articulating implementation details and issue impact.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS, CloudFormation, EC2, IAM, S3, ASG, ALB, Route53, SNS, SQS).
• Proficiency in Python development, including writing unit tests.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices, specifically using Github Actions.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies and ceremonies.
• Experience managing releases across non-prod and production environments.
• Proficiency with Jira for story management.
• Ability to showcase Python development or AWS IaC skills in a Github repository.
