Description

You will own cloud infrastructure engineering and deployment pipelines for AWS environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure solutions using Python and AWS services.
• Own the end-to-end deployment process for non-production and production environments.
• Apply OS platform patches and upgrades, documenting implementation steps and impact analysis.
• Document feature implementations and release notes for stakeholders.
• Demonstrate Jira stories to clients, articulating implementation details and issue impact.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: ECS, CloudFormation, EC2, IAM, S3, ASG, ALB, Route53, SNS, SQS.
• Proficiency in Python development, including writing unit tests.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices, specifically using GitHub Actions.
• Experience managing releases across non-prod and production environments.
• Proficiency with Jira for story management.
• Ability to showcase Python development or AWS IaC skills in a GitHub repository.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies and ceremonies.
