Description

You will manage ECU diagnostics attributes and CAN network signal integrity across multiple vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Review thousands of ECU diagnostic attributes and CAN signals to identify missing details based on industry standards and specifications.
• Analyze DBC files and electrical/electronic circuits to ensure network design accuracy.
• Collaborate with firmware developers, parts owners, and suppliers to complete data definitions and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage Jira work tickets to track issues and ensure documentation is released to firmware and validation stakeholders.
• Build and maintain databases for ECU diagnostics and CAN network reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automotive systems and subsystem diagnostics.
• Deep knowledge of UDS (ISO 14229), SAE J1939, and OBD standards.
• Proficiency in CAN network design and DBC file management.
• Ability to read and interpret C++ code.
• Experience with electrical and electronic circuit interpretation.
• Hands-on experience with Jira for issue tracking.
• Competency in managing and querying databases.
• Degree in any technical field.
