Description

Lead the design, development, and release of complex EDA system software while managing the full software lifecycle and mentoring a team of engineers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own software design, development, verification, and product release for customer delivery.
• Plan project deliverables, manage scheduling, budgeting, and risk for multiple competing priorities.
• Mentor engineers through goal planning, performance evaluation, and targeted training programs.
• Resolve critical technical issues and interface with cross-functional teams across the organization.
• Provide executive updates on project status, team performance, and business decision-making.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of software development experience with hands-on engineering and architectural leadership.
• Deep expertise in C++ and system software architecture for large-scale codebases.
• Proven track record of delivering complex EDA tools or similar system software products.
• Strong project management skills including resource scheduling, budgeting, and risk mitigation.
• Experience leading multiple projects with competing priorities in a technical environment.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large design pattern-based codebases and architectural leadership.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for stakeholder management and team morale.
