Description

You will design and implement software for edge computing and IoT environments, owning the architecture and deployment of connected systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain IoT architectures using MQTT and Kafka.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and optimize Python code for constrained resources like GPU and TPU.
• Write Bash scripts for Linux-based system automation.
• Execute integration testing and test-driven development workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with IoT architecture and protocols like MQTT and Kafka.
• Experience with Azure or GCP IoT solutions.
• Competency in Bash scripting and Git version control.
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience managing Virtual Machines using VirtualBox or VMWare.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Raspberry Pi, RTOS, ADC, or buffer management.
• Background in the Oil & Gas domain.
