Description

Own EDI transaction processing, documentation, and system integration for healthcare claims within a .NET environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review, update, and document claims processing and EDI transaction workflows.
• Identify gaps in existing documentation and create comprehensive process records.
• Act as the subject matter expert for the IDOH ACAPS system rewrite in .NET.
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual designs and business requirements.
• Test systems, resolve EDI data transmission conflicts, and ensure accurate file exchanges with trading partners.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in EDI development and integration.
• Strong proficiency in .NET framework and C#.
• Experience with healthcare claims processing and clearinghouse onboarding.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Skilled in providing helpdesk-level support for EDI claim transactions.
• Capable of working independently with minimal guidance.
• Experience collaborating with external partners and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with federal and state healthcare policies and agency standards.
• Experience with IDOH CSHCS or similar healthcare systems.
