Description

Develop, test, and maintain EDI applications within a mainframe environment. You will own the full software development lifecycle, from design to production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and debug mainframe applications using COBOL and DB2.
• Execute unit, system, regression, and integration testing to ensure code quality.
• Manage implementation planning, coordination, and code promotion to production.
• Fix job abends and implement minor enhancements through detailed design and estimation.
• Provide technical solutions for complex problems and collaborate on new technologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe application development.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL and DB2 development.
• Hands-on experience with JCL, VSAM, and CICS.
• Deep knowledge of EDI processes and standards.
• Ability to write complex DB2 queries.
• Experience with SCLM for code management.
• Proven track record in the full software development lifecycle.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator version 5.2.6.
• Experience with IN-SYNCH and business process development.
