Description

You will design, implement, and maintain EDI solutions for healthcare environments using the Rhapsody integration engine.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy EDI solutions using Rhapsody for hospitals, clinics, and medical laboratories.
  • Implement HL7 interfaces for ADT, ORU, ORM, CCD, CDA, and DICOM data exchange.
  • Develop and maintain HL7 message schemas, mappings, and transformations within Rhapsody.
  • Configure Rhapsody channels and connectors using TCP/IP, HTTPS, SOAP, and REST.
  • Troubleshoot HL7 message parsing, validation, and routing issues to ensure data integrity.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in EDI development.
  • Proven expertise with Rhapsody Integration Engine and HL7 standards (v2.x, v3/CDA).
  • Hands-on experience with HL7 message structures, segments, fields, and data types.
  • Knowledge of healthcare protocols including DICOM, FHIR, and HIPAA.
  • Proficiency with EDI ANSI X12 and SAP EDI.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and regulatory requirements like HITRUST.
  • Ability to perform complex message transformations and schema mapping.
  • Analytical skills for troubleshooting EDI parsing and routing issues.

Preferred Skills

  • Rhapsody Integration Engine Professional Certification.
