Description

You will design and execute test architectures to validate hardware components and entire product families.

Responsibilities

• Design unit and system-level test architectures to exercise all components on a board.
• Develop and execute complete unit, integration, and system-level test plans.
• Debug and mitigate complex system-level hardware and signal integrity problems.
• Automate test strategies using scripts to improve productivity and implement test methodologies.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and manufacturing engineers to drive issues to resolution for manufacturing release.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in hardware testing or engineering.
• Deep knowledge of microcontrollers and fundamental hardware blocks.
• Hands-on experience with LVDS signaling, PCIe, and USB.
• Understanding of clocking, signal integrity, and power issues.
• Proficiency in instrument control and automation.
• Ability to apply networking principles and OSI fundamentals to hardware architecture.
• Strong debugging skills for both hardware and script development.
• Experience documenting test plans, procedures, and technical reports.
• Ability to root cause field issues and support customer escalations.
