Description

You will configure, test, and maintain athenahealth applications to ensure data quality and system efficiency.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and test athenahealth application features and functions.
• Onboard new practices and provide ongoing EHR support, including troubleshooting and system enhancements.
• Manage application upgrades and implementations by creating test plans and validating functionality.
• Write, analyze, and modify reports to support data-driven decision making.
• Triage second and third-level support issues and escalate as necessary.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare data or system analysis.
• Direct experience with EMR/EHR systems, specifically athenahealth.
• Fundamental knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with report writing and data analysis.
• Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot technical issues, and communicate solutions.
• Capacity to participate in a standby rotation requiring 24/7 availability during assigned periods.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
