Description

Lead EHR application projects from requirements gathering through implementation and data migration.

Responsibilities

• Own all project documentation, including business case workbooks, charters, schedules, and biennial operating plans.
• Develop and execute data conversion, migration plans, and implementation strategies.
• Act as the primary liaison between business owners, IT, and solution vendors.
• Manage existing staff in developing migration activities and facilitate regular project team status meetings.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership through weekly updates.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience managing multiple large-scale projects, specifically implementing EHR applications or similar large-scale systems.
• Deep EHR application domain expertise, including workflow analysis and SDLC artifact development.
• Proven experience in application migration and managing data migration activities.
• Working knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, Visio, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to research, analyze complex facts, and devise solutions for difficult technical and operational problems.
• Strong interpersonal skills to lead diverse teams and manage vendor relationships.
